You may find your friends or family will only want to hear so much about your time abroad, but you could be paid to tell about your experiences while mentoring students through the study abroad process. Whether you are finishing up your time abroad or you already have, we want to recruit you to join our International Affairs Peer Advisor team!

Brief Description

Peer Advisors serve as primary contacts for general inquiries about OIA and its Study Abroad and International Student and Scholar units. Peer Advisors assist with outreach, recruitment, orientations and a variety of clerical tasks and projects.

At times of normal campus operations—when OIA and other offices are open to provide in-person services—these responsibilities are accomplished in-person, including while staffing the front desk in the OIA office and in other on-campus spaces. During times of remote operations, Peer Advisors accomplish responsibilities remotely, primarily online via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, email, social media, and other means.
