Are you interested in an internship or research experience aboard? The UC Merced-UDLAP Undergraduate Research & Internship Program provides UC Merced undergrads with an opportunity to travel to the Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP), one of Mexico’s most distinguished universities, for summer 2024 participation in directed research or a professional internship at a local company or organization.

Location
UDLAP campus, San Andrés Cholula (near the city of Puebla, Mexico), and in Cholula/Puebla and local vicinity

Application Eligibility
- Students from all majors are eligible to apply
- Applicants must be enrolled as degree-seeking undergrads at UC Merced, entering at least their junior year in Fall 2024, but not graduating before Fall 2024 at the earliest
- Applicants must be in good academic standing at UC Merced
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate sufficient Spanish language proficiency (students will interview with UDLAP to certify language proficiency)
- Applicants must be in possession of a valid passport.
Program Duration
May 31-August 3, 2024
Program Costs
UC Merced will cover specific costs including:
- Transportation to/from Airport,
- Airfare, and
- UDLAP program costs (Lodging and Meal Plan at UDLAP, Academic and Cultural Experiences)
Students are responsible for all other costs.
