2. Mediterranean Politics, Food & Culture: Florence (Italy), Catania (Italy), & Barcelona

*No prior Spanish study required* Lectures and excursions use food as a lens to explore the politics and cultures of the Mediterranean world along with the changes brought about by migration, urbanization and the quest for sustainability. The program is offered in Florence, Sicily, and Barcelona.

3. International Summer School, Autonomous University of Barcelona

*No prior Spanish study required* Six week intensive summer program for international and host university students offering courses from a variety of disciplines. Students choose one of three courses offered in each of two three-week sessions. Course offerings change each summer. Most courses taught in English; a course taught in Spanish may be available to students with appropriate Spanish skills. No Spanish language acquisition courses offered.
