Defining "Virtual" Internship: Imagine taking 12.0+ units through UC Merced for fall and add an online course focusing on the workforce of your virtual host country while completing the work of an online internship for possibly 3-4 units. Now imagine that the total cost is about $2,100, with or without the possibility of financial aid to help cover the costs. Imagine that internship placements range across nearly every major and minor at UC Merced as well as unique areas like NGOs and non-profit administration. Given this description, how interested are you in exploring a virtual internship opportunity?
