Academic Integration
UCEAP Course Credit Databases aggregate course articulation decision data gathered across UC Merced and other UC campuses for students, advisors, and faculty.
Academic Integration grants are intended to integrate study abroad programs and coursework into academic program curricula, whether toward major or minor requirements or general education. Opportunities for Service
Faculty have the opportunity to participate on Faculty Advisory Committees to give input on program reviews and new UCEAP opportunities. Contact StudyAbroad@ucmerced.edu to get involved.
Opportunities Abroad
Students are not the only ones who have the opportunity to go abroad. International education opportunities exist for faculty and staff as well.
Faculty opportunities:
The UC Education Abroad Program offers faculty teaching opportunities and faculty directorships at various UC Study Centers abroad. Fall 2018 faculty opportunities release
The Institute for Shipboard Education / Semester at Sea offers teaching and dean assignments for faculty on board for a semester or summer term.
UC Merced affiliate AIFS offers teaching and research opportunities in Rome at the Richmond, The American International University campus.
